Scott is currently the Vice President, Business Intelligence for New York City FC of Major League Soccer. Previously, he served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Zoomph and the VP, Strategy & Analytics for the Baltimore Orioles. His other past positions include: VP of Marketing for D.C. United, Sr. Director of Marketing for the Washington Nationals and Director in TMBO at the NBA League Office (NBA, WNBA, D League). 

For the past 14 years, Scott has served as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, teaching a course on Sports Analytics. He has been teaching Business Intelligence at Columbia University since 2024. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from U.C.L.A. and an MBA from Duke University.

Scott also serves as the President of the Annapolis Soccer Club, one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the state of Maryland, that provides soccer programming for over 1,100 children ages 2-18 each year.
