The SSAC provides a forum for industry professionals (executives and leading researchers), students, and fans to discuss the increasing role of analytics in the sports industry. MIT Sloan is dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in this arena, and the conference provides many learning opportunities.
The conference is chaired by Jessica Gelman (HBS ’02) and Daryl Morey (MIT Sloan ’00) who oversee MIT Sloan students in the planning and operating of the yearly conference.

Our team is still working on finalizing all the benefits of VIP tickets, many of which will not be known until closer to the conference. Some of the benefits from past years include designated seating in the panel and Competitive Advantage rooms, special meet and greets with keynote speakers, gift bags with additional items, access to a fireside chat with Daryl Morey & Jessica Gelman and other sports executives, and the potential for increased access to the interactive events. Please note, that these benefits are subject to change until the conference has been finalized. General admission will not include the above benefits.
Full details available on the purchase page.
We only offer a limited number of Student tickets each year – to be eligible for the Student discount, the ticket holder must be a fully enrolled student at the time of the conference. Once Student tickets are sold out the most certain way of ensuring attendance the conference is to purchase a General Admission ticket, which would grant you access to all the resources and events covered by a Student ticket.
Yes, please contact tickets@sloansportsconference.com to receive a specialized coupon code for these discounts.
Full refunds will be issued for requests made to the conference by emailing tickets@sloansportsconference.com within the first 24 hours of ticket purchase for General Admission and Student tickets. Partial refunds of 50% will be issued up to and including November 15th, 2022, and 25% up to and including January 15th, 2023.

The transfer fee is waived if the request is placed with complete transferee information within 24 hours after purchase. No transfer requests will be processed after February 3rd, 2023.
