Dr. Rishe is the Director of the Sports Business Program at Washington University in St. Louis. He also is Founder and CEO of the sports consulting firm Sportsimpacts, as well as a contributing Sports Business writer for Forbes. com. As the Director of the Wash U program since 2015, Dr. Rishe has instituted (1) an annual Fall Sports Business Summit which has attracted over 50 sports industry speakers in 2 years, (2) a monthly Lacob Speaker Series, and (3) experiential learning opportunities with organizations such as Populous and the Vegas Golden Knights. Wash U students have secured sports internships with Wasserman, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and more. As the Founder and CEO of Sportsimpacts, Dr. Rishe's firm has conducted over 80 economic impact studies including 3 Super Bowl, 3 Final Fours, and a Ryder Cup. He most recently conducted an economic impact analysis for a potential expansion MLS franchise in St. Louis.
