Head of Match Analysis, FC Bayern Munich Michael Niemeyer is responsible for the quantitative and qualitative analysis for the 1st team game and the youth of FC Bayern Munich. This includes analyzing video, statistical and biometric data of game and training performance to provide competitive analysis. In addition, Niemeyer is responsible for coordinating with external organizations on the topic of team and player performance. He maintains the club's own database solutions for sports. In addition, he is a member of the working group on performance data for the German Football Association (DFB). He partners with TU Munich to conduct research and implement new analytical methods based on scientific knowledge. He has worked closely with external services providers to co-innovate the next generation of team and player performance solutions.
