Eric Chemi is a reporter at CNBC television, where he covers sports business in addition to consumer and data-driven stories. Until 2014, Eric worked as the head of data and research for Bloomberg’s TV channel and Businessweek magazine. Earlier, Eric worked as a financial trader at JPMorgan and the hedge fund Fortress Investment Group. Eric’s sports analytics work has been featured at NBC Sports and Turner. He was also a statistics and data consultant to several NASCAR teams. Eric graduated with an EECS degree from MIT.
