Andrew Hyde is Vice President of Software Engineering at The Walt Disney Company, where he leads engineering for ESPN’s flagship digital portfolio, including the ESPN App, ESPN.com, Fantasy sports, and ESPN’s Virtual Studios. He oversees the platforms and engineering teams responsible for delivering world-class sports experiences to millions of fans across live, editorial, and interactive products.

Over his 14 years at Disney and ESPN, Hyde has contributed to several of the company’s most transformative digital initiatives, including key roles in the integration of Hulu on Disney+ and the launch of ESPN’s full direct-to-consumer launch in fall of 2025. He began at Disney helping to launch ESPN+, advancing the company’s overall direct-to-consumer strategy and later led and supported major platform rebuilds for Marvel, National Geographic, and ABC News – modernizing their digital ecosystems for global scale.

A champion of emerging technologies and innovation, Hyde is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating products that blend technical excellence with compelling fan experiences. Outside of work, he enjoys sailing and discovering exceptional Pinot Noir.
