John Tobias has traveled as a TV Sports Statistician with ESPN for 10 plus years. He has worked the last three Summer Olympics, the 2019& 2023 World Cup & hundreds of college games. John is also a Sports Analytics Professor & newly appointed Sports Analytics Program Director at UNC-Charlotte. He is also the founder of Strength in Numbers; a non-profit organization created to teach sports analytics to underrepresented students to help create a more diverse pipeline of candidates in the Sports Analytics industry. He resides in Charlotte, NC.
