Steven Houston
Expert Technical Scouting, Previously Chelsea FC & Hamburger SV Steven has worked in prominent technical scouting and 1 st team analysis roles at Chelsea FC in the EPL, and most recently with Hamburger SV in the German Bundesliga. His more statistical approach has led to him being responsible for co-ordinating all scouting efforts and scouting live himself, as well as leading analytical tasks including player/team evaluation, data modelling/visualisation and video analysis, alongside developing new technologies with coaches and sport scientists. Coming from a consultancy background, Steven previously worked for five years as Lead Analyst with some of the top general insurance companies in the UK. He also has experience working within basketball analytics. Currently, he is working on several freelance projects whilst also completing his MSc in Management Science at Strathclyde Business School.
