Founder and President, Octagon Octagon's Founder and President Phil de Picciotto has been at the forefront of the sports, music and entertainment industry for over 30 years. Under his leadership and direction, Octagon has achieved a position of leadership in the areas of talent representation, property ownership, event management, and sports and entertainment marketing. The company has been consistently recognized for its global vision, diversity of service offerings, personalized approach and high quality delivery for its clients and business partners. During de Picciotto's distinguished career, he has been involved in many of the industry's most important initiatives including the successful effort to remove tobacco sponsorship from professional tennis. He may be best known for building the brands and overseeing the careers of many of the world's most recognizable and talented athletes and celebrities, ranging from Super Bowl champions to Olympic gold medalists to royalty to network broadcasters. de Picciotto graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College in 1977, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. While pursuing his law degree, he worked at Dell, Craighill, Fentress & Benton. In 1983, he co-founded Advantage International which was later re-branded Octagon. Currently, de Picciotto serves on the Board of Directors for Right To Play and the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
