Sr. Dir., Business Strategy & Analytics, Houston Astros
Jay currently works as the Sr. Director of Business Strategy & Analytics for the Houston Astros. In his role, Jay provides data analysis and strategic planning support across business units. In addition to major projects, Jay oversees the management of CRM, ticket pricing and forecasting as part of his day-today responsibilities. Jay joined the team in 2012 after graduating with his MBA from MIT Sloan. While at Sloan, Jay was a member of the 2011 and 2012 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics organizing committee, leading the 2012 Research Paper Competition. Prior to Sloan, Jay worked in Boston for Putnam Associates, a strategy consulting firm specialized in life sciences. Jay is a graduate of Tufts University with a BA in Economics.
