Eric Tulsky

About

Eric Tulsky is the Manager of Hockey Analytics for the Carolina Hurricanes. He is in his fourth year with the Hurricanes, analyzing data to assist the hockey operations department and coaching staff. Prior to joining the Hurricanes, he launched a hub for statistical hockey analysis through sbnation. com called Outnumbered, and has also published work at NHLnumbers. com, BroadStreetHockey. com, and fivethirtyeight. com. He holds a B. A. in chemistry and physics from Harvard University and a Ph. D. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and has previously engaged in research helping to enable unique nanotechnology solutions to problems in DNA sequencing, solar energy, displays, and energy storage.
