Jessica O’Beirne is the founder and co-host of GymCastic: The Gymnastics Podcast, the most popular gymnastics podcast in the world. Since launching in 2012, GymCastic has become the leading source for investigative reporting and in-depth storytelling in the sport, and is top-ranked among all sports podcasts globally. O’Beirne was the first to ever to interview Simone Biles. Olympic champion McKayla Maroney selected O’Beirne for an exclusive interview to publicly reveal the maltreatment that ended her career. O’Beirne has broken major stories, including the first lawsuit against Larry Nassar and Romanian secret police files detailing abuse and corruption by Marta and Béla Károlyi.

A passionate advocate for athlete safety and transparency, O’Beirne continues to shape the conversation around the sport. She holds a Master’s in Library and Information Science and is a national champion in freestyle wrestling.
