Dr. Andre’ Snellings is a Senior Writer and on-air personality at ESPN, writing primarily about the NBA, fantasy basketball, sports betting and NBA analytics with additional content on the NFL, ATP and WTA. He is a two-time FSWA Basketball Writer of the Year, and has appeared on shows like Get Up, Daily Wager, Bet and The Jump.

Snellings previously had a 16-year career in neural engineering, during which he was also a senior writer and analyst for Rotowire and a contributor to several sports outlets such as Nylon Calculus, TYTSports, Fansided and Summit Hoops. He uses his background as a scientist and basketball fanatic to understand and interpret the game in unusual ways, resulting in unique insights and analysis.

Snellings is a former research fellow at Duke University with an emphasis on neuromodulation and neural prosthetics, earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan and his BS in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. He is published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, Neuroscience Letters and the British Journal of Neurology.
