Vice President of Research and Strategy, Cleveland Browns
Andrew Healy is Vice President of Research and Strategy with the Cleveland Browns. For the last five years in that role, he has led the integration of data and advanced insights into all parts of football operations. He started with the Browns in 2016 as Senior Player Personnel Strategist, helping to develop methods for valuing players, game decisions, and draft assets. Before joining Cleveland, he wrote and created projection systems for Football Outsiders.
Previously, Healy was Professor of Economics at Loyola Marymount University, where he did research on the causes and consequences of underinvestment in natural disaster preparation. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT.
