Speaker Profile

Brian Higgins has been Senior Vice President for Business Performance at the NCAA since 2023.  In this role, he leads the Association’s data team and manages strategic projects.  Prior to the NCAA, Brian was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with industrial and government clients to apply artificial intelligence to engineering, infrastructure and disaster recovery projects.  Brian also served for 9 years in the US Navy, with duties aboard a VIRGINIA Class attack submarine, the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Headquarters, and the White House.  A native of Cape Cod, Brian now lives in Barnstable with his wife Carolina and their 3 children.  Brian holds an MBA from Wharton, an MA (Political Communications) from Johns Hopkins and a BA from Washington and Lee University.
