Previously, Barnwell served as one of the founding writers for Grantland during the entirety of the site's existence. He started his career writing for Football Outsiders and has served as a quantitative consultant to both MLB and NFL teams. A 2006 graduate of Northeastern University, Bill lives in Brooklyn.
