Previously, he served as the Chief Data Officer of WinnersView, a media startup focused on sports analytics and storytelling. Additional career highlights include his time as the Director of Basketball Analytics for the Philadelphia 76ers and as the sole analytics resource for the Memphis Grizzlies. Aaron's clients as an independent data science consultant include the NBA league office, NBA teams, and a major player agent. Before focusing on sports, Aaron worked as a management consultant for 8 years concentrating on the pharmaceutical industry where he specialized in sales forces of Fortune 500 companies. He created the website basketballvalue. com and wrote articles for 82Games in his spare time during that period. Aaron earned his B. S. from MIT where he played varsity basketball and served as co-captain his senior year. He then earned his M. S. and Ph. D. from Stanford University.
