Leveraging Data for Athlete Health and Performance

In 2018, the Wake Forest Pitching Lab was just the dream of an Orthopedic surgeon and a head baseball coach. By January 2019, that dream was becoming a reality. We opened a biomechanics lab dedicated to baseball pitching, full of technology and tools, but also an impressive team of experts. Over the last seven years, the lab has gained a reputation for leading baseball pitching biomechanics research and utilizing data for injury prevention and player development. In this Competitive Advantage talk, we will discuss the history of the lab, how we have leveraged data for success, and explore what's next.
