ABOUT

Twila Kilgore is a senior football leader and coach with experience across international, professional, and collegiate environments.

Most recently, she served as an assistant coach and interim head coach with the U.S. Women’s National Team program, helping lead the team through a period of transition and growth. During that time, the team won both the inaugural CONCACAF W Gold Cup and the SheBelieves Cup. She later joined Emma Hayes’ staff for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where the United States earned the gold medal.

Across her career, Twila has worked across senior and youth national teams, in the NWSL, and throughout the American youth and collegiate landscapes. Her work spans player development, high-performance environments, technical strategy, staff development, and organizational leadership within modern football operations.

A consummate learner and pathway builder, Twila is recognized as the first American-born woman to earn the U.S. Soccer Pro License. She also holds the UEFA A License and advanced academic degrees in education.

Her leadership philosophy centers on creating clarity, alignment, and meaningful support for players and staff—building environments where people can do their best work, grow in their roles, and sustain competitive success over time.
