Director - Application Development and Business Intelligence, Major League Baseball Mr. Fernandez, over the last five plus years has lead an aggressive expansion of the use of analytics within the Major League Baseball offices. His team is responsible for managing and analyzing millions of data points throughout the course of the season, managing to crucial deadlines, making recommendations and decisions that impact the product supplied by the Office of the Commissioner to the Clubs. He is intimately involved in the MLB's development of business intelligence solutions as well as adoption of multiple mobile platforms. Prior to MLB, Mr. Fernandez brings 15 years of experience from across the healthcare, retail and financial industries working with companies such as JPMorgan Chase, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Coach and Mount Sinai Hospital.
