ABOUT

Momin Ghaffar is a versatile data scientist with experience in analytics and research. As a Manager of Strategic Research and Development at the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ghaffar partners with executive stakeholders to enhance strategic, data-driven decision-making across the organization. He focuses heavily on conducting quantitative analyses to generate insights and facilitates internal product development, data infrastructure improvements, and technological innovations.

Ghaffar has co-authored research papers in football and medicine. A recent participant in the inaugural Big Data Bowl hosted by the NFL, he and his group were awarded an honorable mention for their submission of an original research paper.

Ghaffar has previously held roles in corporate strategy and finance with stints at a Goldman Sachs subsidiary and The Home Depot and in analytics at the San Antonio Spurs. A proud Blue Devil, Ghaffar earned his Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology from Duke University in 2015.
