In this workshop, we will explore NFL player tracking data (Next Gen Stats) and provide examples on how to calculate various metrics and create visualizations using R.

Note that attendees will need to have R/RStudio already installed on their personal laptops to be able to follow along. All levels of programming experience are welcome! Techniques and code from this workshop can be applied to various types of NFL player tracking data. However, only currently publicly available data from the NFL will be used.
