Matt Higgins is Co-founder and CEO of the sports and entertainment venture firm RSE Ventures and serves as Vice Chairman of the Miami Dolphins. At RSE, Matt has founded several successful companies including Derris & Company and Catalyst Media and is a founder of the International Champions cup global soccer tournament. Higgins actively invests via both RSE Ventures and Vayner/RSE, a venture fund created in partnership with Gary Vaynerchuk. Prior to RSE, Higgins served as VP of Business Operations at the New York Jets where he transformed the team's profile via social media and non-traditional brand extensions. Before joining the Jets, Matt served as COO of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation where he was responsible for helping lead the rebuilding effort for the World Trade Center site. Matt sits on the board of Autism Speaks where he chairs the MSSNG project, a partnership with Google that aims to demystify autism through genetic sequencing and open science.
