Sean Zerillo is a senior writer at the Action Network, providing projections for the company’s MLB and MMA verticals using his proprietary data models. Sean also creates digital content related to MLB, MMA, and horse racing across all platforms; you can find him hosting Payoff Pitch, Action Network’s MLB betting podcast, as well as the Action Network Podcast, for coverage of UFC Events and major horse races.

Sean began contributing to the Action Network in 2019 after working as a baseball video scout for Sports Info Solutions. He transitioned to a sports career after working in financial regulatory compliance, including stops at E-TRADE and RBC Capital Markets. Sean passed the New York State Bar Exam in 2014. During law school, he volunteered at the 2012 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.
