Samantha Barkowski
Samantha Barkowski is Executive Vice President of FSG Golf at Fenway Sports Management (FSM), the integrated strategic growth and commercial engine of Fenway Sports Group (FSG). She leads FSG’s golf strategy, managing the Strategic Sports Group (SSG) consortium and overseeing its investment in PGA TOUR Enterprises.
Previously, Barkowski served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth, leading FSG’s team dedicated to advancing long-term strategic initiatives across its global portfolio. She most recently helped lead the negotiation and execution of the SSG’s landmark investment in PGA TOUR Enterprises.
Since 2021, when FSG formally established its Growth team, Barkowski has played a key role in several transformative transactions, including RedBird Capital’s investment in FSG, FSM’s long-term extension of its exclusive partnership with LeBron James’ LRMR Ventures, FSG’s acquisition of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, and the acquisition and launch of TGL’s Boston Common Golf in partnership with Rory McIlroy.
Barkowski began her career with the Boston Red Sox in 2010in Fan Services and Entertainment, later serving in the Legal Department before transitioning to strategy and business development in 2018. In 2019, she was named to Sports Business Journal’s inaugural 30 New Voices Under 30 class. She graduated from Harvard College in 2014 with a degree in Government and a citation in Spanish.
