Rocky Koplik

About

Rocky Koplik is in his 22nd season with the San Francisco Giants and serves as their Vice President, Business Analytics. He is responsible for the development of the club’s data infrastructure, while providing analytics and strategy across the business side of the enterprise. Koplik has influence over the organization’s data technical stack, reporting, research and predictive analytics, strategic planning and internal consultation.

Over fifteen years, Koplik also has enjoyed a side gig as a sports broadcaster. He has over 500 games of experience, calling games on radio and television for minor league baseball, Giants spring training and professional indoor lacrosse.

A New York native, Koplik graduated from Cornell University in 1996 with a degree in Economics and lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children. He serves on the board of Horizons, an educational non-profit committed to providing high-quality academic and enrichment opportunities to children in underserved communities.
