Software Engineer, Second Spectrum
Noel Hollingsworth is a software engineer at Second Spectrum. Prior to this role, he was a starter for the MIT basketball team, receiving the Malcolm Kispert award for most outstanding student athlete, leading the Engineers to the Division III Final Four, and named an NABC All-American. His master's thesis at MIT was conducted under the supervision of Leslie Kaelbling, and focused on applying machine learning to improving energy efficiency in hybrid automobiles. His interests are in applying recent machine learning research to sports and other real world problems, and in scaling machine learning approaches to large amounts of data. Noel holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
