About

Miles Lowry is part of Formula 1’s Strategy & Business Development team, responsible for setting the long-term strategic direction of the sport. Miles has a broad range of experience, supporting both the commercial and motorsport sides of the business – whilst assessing new business opportunities.

Since joining in November 2017, Miles has helped to launch the company’s inaugural corporate strategy, sustainability strategy and diversity & inclusion strategy. In addition, Miles has been involved in determining the company’s approach in key strategic markets, assessing prospective race locations and defining the strategy to attract the next generation of fans. Miles is also the lead for the F1 Extreme Innovation Series, a unique collaboration between Formula 1 and MIT Sloan Executive Education.

Prior to joining Formula 1, Miles spent two years at Manchester United where he worked across both commercial and football strategy. After studying Economics at the University of Cambridge, Miles worked in investment banking for Bank of America.
