Meridith Cass
Meridith Cass is the Founder and CEO of Nix Biosensors, an AI-powered biosensor company spinout of Harvard. Nix has launched the first real-time sweat sensor that informs athletes, soldiers, and laborers of their fluid and electrolyte losses, and sweat composition in real-time. The company has been awarded over a dozen industry accolades, including TIME Best Inventions of 2022, Gear Patrol 2023 Fitness Award, CES 2023 Innovation Award, Defense Connect Innovation Award, 2023 MedTech Breakthrough Award, and Runners World 2024 Gear of the Year, among others. A serial company starter, Meridith has worked with several Boston and New York-based venture capital firms in the creation of seven life science and consumer health startups prior to Nix, and continues to advise venture funds in the consumer health and human performance space. She received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College where she received the Anna Pell Wheeler Prize for Mathematics, and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Meridith is a Kauffman Fellow, a Harvard Business School Blavatnik Fellow, and has been honored by Inc. Magazine on the Female Founder 200 list.
