Madison Packer is a former professional ice hockey player known for her playmaking skills, physical play, and strong leadership. She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she first developed a passion for the sport at a young age. Packer went on to play college hockey at the University of Wisconsin, where she was a standout player and helped lead her team to multiple championships.

After completing her collegiate career, Packer entered the professional arena. She was drafted by the Metropolitan Riveters in the 2015 NWHL Draft and made an immediate impact, becoming one of the league's most notable players. Throughout her eight-year career in the NWHL, she showcased her skill, dedication, and versatility both on and off the ice. In 2023 the Professional Women’s Hockey League launched, and Packer joined PWHL New York in its inaugural season continuing her long professional career. Packer is a six time All-Star, NCAA National Champion, two-time WCHA Champion, two-time World Champion Gold Medalist, and Isobel Cup Champion.

In addition to her success on the ice, Packer is a vocal advocate for women's hockey and is passionate about growing the sport and providing equal opportunities for young girls to play. She is known for her dedication to advocacy and has been involved in numerous charitable initiatives, using her platform to make a positive impact in both sport and her community. Packer most notably uses her platform to raise awareness about the growth and development of women's hockey, mental health and addiction awareness, and LGBTQIA+ injustices particularly surrounding trans youth.

Packer continues to balance her professional hockey career with community involvement while also raising two beautiful children son Waylon (3) and daughter Harlan (1) alongside wife, and former professional hockey player, Anya Packer. Outside of hockey, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and is passionate about finding solutions to the opioid crisis in the United States. With her contributions both on and off the ice, she continues to inspire the next generation of female athletes and plays a crucial role in the advancement of women's sports. Packer is a true force to be reckoned with, and her talent, determination, and passion for giving back make her a genuine role model for aspiring athletes everywhere.
