Johnathan Atkeison joined USA Cricket as Chief Executive Officer in August of 2024, following a thirteen-year career with USA Rugby. Atkeison’s primary focus is accelerating the growth and development of cricket in the United States while leveraging international interest in the burgeoning American cricket market.

At USA Rugby, Atkeison played an integral role in securing the hosting rights for the 2031 and 2033 Rugby World Cups, specifically headed up the “pre-legacy” planning work aimed at building out commercial valuation, growth in participation numbers, and on-field national team success
