As a data analytics leader with over a decade of experience in the sports industry, Keegan Schmitt serves as the Director of Data Analytics at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. Since joining the organization at the start of 2022, Keegan has been instrumental in pioneering data-driven process improvements for his childhood favorite teams, leveraging a lifelong passion for the intersection of sports and mathematics.

Keegan began his professional journey after earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado. He launched his career on the consulting team of a specialized data warehousing and analytics firm, SSB, where he spent several years honing his technical expertise. During this time, he mastered complex data warehousing techniques while building a deep understanding of the unique business drivers within the sports world. This foundation allowed him to bridge the gap between sophisticated mathematical modeling and actionable business intelligence.

Throughout his decade-long career, Keegan has established himself as an advocate for data literacy, frequently teaching and mentoring teams on how to harness analytics to drive operational efficiency.
