Chris’s career path blends athlete experience, coaching insight, and deep optimization expertise. An All-American tennis player at Vanderbilt University, he went on to compete professionally for four years and later coached at Ole Miss. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, specializing in routing and scheduling problems, an area he has applied to real-world challenges since 2010. As a co-founder of Fastbreak AI, Chris brings advanced optimization technology to sports organizations of every size, helping them run faster, smarter, and more efficiently.
