Heather O'Reilly

Assistant Coach, University of North Carolina

About

Displaying one of the best work rates in the world, Heather thundered up and down the right flank for the U.S team for over 14 years, starting in 2002 when she was only 17. She holds the record for most consecutive games played on the National Team at 74, starting 67 of those 74 matches. Long known for her speed and endurance, Heather became a fan favorite over the years for her competitive drive on the field and humorous nature off the pitch. She finished her career as one of just four three-time women’s soccer Olympic gold medalists and a 2015 Women’s World Cup Champion. Heather is currently an assistant coach with the University of North Carolina and active with several community outreach organizations: Right To Play, Athlete Ally and America Scores.
