Eric Orme serves as Vice President, Live Sports Product and Engineering, Prime Video, where he oversees the global product, engineering, and operations for Prime Video's growing portfolio of live sports. Under his leadership, Prime Video’s live streaming technology has advanced to become the most tested and proven in the world, achieving unparalleled quality throughout end-to-end delivery, and setting new standards of scale for live sports consumption. Orme has led the techincal achievements behind marquee properties including the English Premier League, the NFL’s Thursday Night Football, UEFA Champions League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, US Open tennis, and numerous other live sporting events and concerts. His work has driven Prime Video’s emergence as a sought after and trustworthy sports and entertainment destination, with best-in-class productions, customizable viewing options, and high-quality streams that bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

Prior to this role, Orme served as the head of Prime Video Direct (PVD), where he oversaw the global strategy, business, product, and engineering for the self-service program that allows creators and studios to offer their content to Amazon customers worldwide.

Prior to joining Amazon in 2015, Orme served as a COO/CTO at Inform, where he was instrumental in growing the company into a Comscore #4 video property through his leadership of the product, business development, and operations organizations. Prior to this, he served in executive roles at a variety of global digital media companies.

Orme holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Computer Science from Berry College. He resides in the greater DC metro area with his wife Joy and their four sons.
