Danilo Gallinari

Professional Basketball Player Oklahoma City Thunder
ABOUT

Danilo Gallinari is a Forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Selected 6th overall in the 2008 NBA draft after being named the Italian League MVP, Danilo has played for the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder over his 12-year NBA career.

Danilo is one of the most successful figureheads of the NBA’s analytical revolution. Regularly ranking among the league-leaders in both three-point attempts and free-throw attempts per game, Danilo remains a perfect embodiment for where the NBA has trended over the past few years. He has evolved into one of the NBA’s most efficient players – posting a .591 career True Shooting % – and has been the common denominator behind two of the NBA’s most surprising teams over the past two seasons: the 2018-19 Los Angeles Clippers and the 2019-20 Oklahoma City Thunder.

Danilo is currently averaging 19.3 points per game while shooting 44% from the Field, 41% from Three and 90% from the Free-Throw Line. He is the most accomplished player to ever come from Italy.
