Brant has worked in, around, and for the National Hockey League since 2002. Since 2020, Brant has worked for the NHL, overseeing team-oriented products and assisting in data availability for clubs. He also supports key partnerships with Apple, AWS and SAP, assisting in the leadership and evangelism of the SAP NHL Coaching Insights app and NHL Edge IQ powered by AWS. Prior to his time with the NHL, Brant worked with Catapult Sports (previously XOS) , starting in 2010. There, he oversaw the creation of software and workflows adopted by the majority of NHL and AHL clubs as well as Division 1 NCAA teams. His contributions culminated in the implementation of iBench, the first league wide iOS platform, seen in use during games on all NHL benches. Brant served as the Video Coach for the Boston Bruins from 2002-2010, and was awarded a Stanley Cup ring by the team in 2011 for his contributions. Brant also served as the Video Coach with USA Hockey at the 2007 IIHF World Championships. Brant is also an active youth hockey coach and board member with Nashoba Youth Hockey, a non-profit hockey organization.
