Director of Business Intelligence, Sacramento Kings
Tom Duncan is Director of Business Intelligence for the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center. In this role he oversees a wide range of functional areas including CRM, marketing automation and customer research. In addition, Tom and his team use their unique perspective on the organization’s data to help drive strategy across ticket sales, marketing, corporate partnerships and other key business verticals.
Now in his 7th season with the team, Tom oversees a diverse array of projects ranging from ticket pricing strategy to implementation of marketing technology platforms. Prior to joining the Kings, Tom worked as a data scientist across multiple industries and served as the first full-time baseball operations data analyst within the Baltimore Orioles’ front office.
The ongoing global pandemic has brought the sports and live entertainment industry to a grinding halt. The Sacramento Kings have leveraged data and technology to maintain a relationship with their passionate fanbase and drive revenue through enhancing existing initiatives and creating new programs not imagined 12 months ago.
