Morgan Sword is Executive Vice President, Baseball Operations at Major League Baseball (MLB), where he oversees MLB's competitive system, including free agency, salary arbitration, the minor leagues, the draft and international player acquisition systems, as well as on-field issues including umpiring and rule changes.  He is a member of the team that negotiates on behalf of the Clubs with baseball's unions including the Major League Baseball Players Association and the Major League Umpires Association.  He joined MLB in 2008 and is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Columbia Business School.
