John Park
John Park is a football operations executive focused on aligning roster construction, game strategy, and long-term team building to strengthen organizational performance. He has built football operations strategy across multiple NFL clubs and contributes to high-performance initiatives at the national level.
As the Director of Strategic Football Operations for the Dallas Cowboys, John Park partners with coaches, scouts, and senior leadership on roster construction, game strategy, and long-term team building to strengthen organizational alignment and competitive performance.
From 2016–2022, Park served in the same role with the Indianapolis Colts as the organization’s first full-time hire focused on football operations strategy, helping establish an evidence-based foundation for decision-making across the club.
Earlier in his career, Park worked in NFL Player Engagement and held player development and recruiting roles at Rutgers University, joining the program during its transition to the Big Ten and serving through its first two seasons in the conference.
Beyond his club responsibilities, Park contributes to the broader advancement of the sport. He serves as Chairman of the High Performance Committee for USA Football and previously served on the inaugural Combine Performance Advisory Committee for the NFL Scouting Combine.
Prior to entering football, Park was a consultant at Alvarez & Marsal and PricewaterhouseCoopers and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He serves on the Board of Directors of the MATHCOUNTS Foundation. He earned a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from Duke University and a master’s degree in actuarial science from Columbia University and has participated in the NFL’s executive development programs, including Stanford’s League of Leaders, the Ozzie Newsome General Manager Forum, the Quarterback Coaching Summit, and the Front Office & General Manager Accelerator.
