Connor Barwin
Connor Barwin is Head of Football Development and Strategy for the Philadelphia Eagles, entering his seventh season in the organization’s football operations department. Promoted to his current role in 2024, Barwin previously served as Special Assistant to the General Manager (2020–21) and Director of Player Development (2022–23). Under his leadership, the Eagles’ rookies have averaged more games on the 48-man active roster than any other team in the league.
Barwin enjoyed a ten-year NFL career from 2009–18, including four seasons in Philadelphia. A second-round draft pick by the Houston Texans, he appeared in 142 games and recorded 56.5 career sacks. In 2014, he earned Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors after leading the NFC with 14.5 sacks. He later played for the Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants.
Off the field, Barwin is the founder of the Make the World Better (MTWB) Foundation, which has invested more than $30 million in Philadelphia neighborhood revitalization projects focused on youth engagement, green infrastructure, and public art. He has also served as executive producer of the documentary KELCE and multiple charity music projects that have raised millions for nonprofit causes.
A Detroit native and former All-American at the University of Cincinnati, Barwin earned his MBA from the Wharton School in 2023. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Laura, and their two children.
