Speaker Profile

Alex D'Amour is a PhD student in the Harvard University Statistics department where his main research is in the statistical analysis of network data, particularly the complications that arise when such data become massive. His previous work includes baseball park factor estimation and game theoretic analysis of pitch selection using PitchFX data. His work on the Pointwise paper is his first foray into basketball statistics.
