About

Steve Magness is a world-renowned expert on mental and physical performance. His most recent book is Win the Inside Game: How to Move from Surviving to Thriving, and Free Yourself Up to Perform. His other books include international bestsellers Do Hard Things and Peak Performance. In his work on mental skills development, he’s worked with teams and individuals from every major professional league, the US military, and Olympians. His writing has appeared in The Atlantic, Outside, Forbes, Sports Illustrated, and a variety of other outlets. Steve received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and a graduate degree from George Mason University. He currently lives in Houston, Tx, with his wife and two kids. Once upon a time, he ran a mile in 4:01 in high school.
