Speaker Profile

As editor-in-chief of Hockey-Graphs, Asmae manages the day-to-day operations and oversees the editorial and creative process. She’s passionate about bridging data analytics, academia and sports. In her role, she spearheaded a mentorship program pairing NHL data scientists and executives with underrepresented persons. She has also hosted an interactive data visualization workshop at the 2018 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference and is back to host a second workshop focusing on the basics of predictive modeling in R.
