Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Trader with deep expertise in prediction markets and real-time modeling. The ideal candidate combines strong trading intuition, robust statistical and programming skills, and the ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured, high-quality models that drive profitable decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design and develop complex models to generate real-time fair values for intricate, uncertain domains (e.g., weather, event-driven outcomes, or probabilistic systems) Identify edge cases, structural pitfalls, and modeling risks, proactively addressing them to ensure robustness and operational stability Assess data needs and sourcing strategies, determining what inputs are required for accurate forecasting and collaborating with relevant teams to acquire them Build initial model prototypes in Python, using libraries such as pandas and numpy, and partner closely with developers to productionize these models for real-world trading Monitor, validate, and iterate on production models, ensuring strong performance and continuously improving predictive accuracy and trading outcomes Identify, evaluate, and execute market-take opportunities arising from model insights and prediction-market dynamics Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize trading strategies, enhance infrastructure, and scale automated decision-making Flexible start date

Desired Qualifications:

Strong understanding of trading concepts, decision science, and probabilistic reasoningExtensive experience with prediction markets, including market structure, pricing mechanics, and liquidity dynamicsProficiency in Python, with deep working knowledge of pandas and numpyAbility to think critically about uncertainty, model assumptions, and real-world edge casesStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with traders, developers, and data teams
