Ianir Ideses is a Senior Applied Science Manager at Amazon Prime Video Sports, where he leads research and development of computer vision and machine learning (CVML) based products at scale in the sports arena. With over eight years at Amazon, including leadership roles at Lab126, Ianir drives the development of broadcast innovation features that are transforming how fans experience live sports streaming.

Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Scientist at Gett, where he led AI and machine learning initiatives in transportation, and as Head of Algorithms at Logz.io, developing ML solutions for big data applications.

His expertise spans the full algorithm lifecycle, from early-stage research through system design, commercialization, and large-scale deployment. He holds more than 20 patent filings and more than 30 published papers.

Ianir holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Engineering from Tel Aviv University in the field of 3D visualization. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

At the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, Ianir will showcase Prime Video's innovative sports features powered by advanced analytics and AI.
