Jay is the Chief People Officer (CPO) for the 2026 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference. This past summer, he interned at Bain and Company. Prior to MIT Sloan, he worked as an education consultant at Tyton Partners and a high school math teacher through Teach For America. His favorite moment from teaching was coaching the tennis team to consecutive district championships.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Jay earned his degrees in Accounting, History, and Plan II. A Dallas native, Jay is a devoted Texas sports fan, with one exception being the New York Giants, whom he fell in love with after their 2007 Super Bowl run. He has no regrets.
