There’s an abundance of data being collected on athletes in training settings, yet without coaches and athletes being able to quickly access this information near real-time, the value and utility of this information can be greatly diminished. This talk will discuss case studies from the MIT Sports Lab where the goal was to incorporate data into the immediate feedback loop in training through extraction of useful information from video and using a granular adaptive training method to help speed skill acquisition.
