Position Description

SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Platform Delivery & Operations is responsible for supporting the growth and scale of KAGR’s technical delivery and client platform support capabilities. This role will work collaboratively with the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, cross-functionally with various departments, and KAGR leadership to:  ACCELERATE GROWTH OF KAGR’S PLATFORM DELIVERY – COACH & SUPPORT TEAM – MEASURE & EVOLVE KEY DELIVERY FUNCTIONS & PROCESSES

The Senior Director of Platform Delivery & Operations is a member of the senior leadership team and will be expected to identify and drive opportunities to support key business and organizational initiatives related to the delivery of KAGR’s data & analytics products. This will include being accountable for platform delivery goals, metrics, and results. Through a strong knowledge of technology, analytics, and the sports industry, this leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance delivery operations and support the growth and development of the team.

Desired Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role encompassing software delivery, customer business solutions, or technical client services within a Management Consulting, Technology, or Sports setting.
  • At least 3 years in a technical delivery management role with significant experience defining and delivering customer-facing solutions.
  • Experience working in emerging technology organizations that have built business applications/platforms and are preferably in the ecommerce, consumer marketing, or retail sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology required, MBA from a leading institution strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytic skills and the ability to identify important trends.
  • Proven track record in client services and technology delivery, as well as ability to build cross-functional relationships between engineering, business intelligence, data science, and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with technology systems, including data warehousing, CRM, marketing automation, operating systems, and digital platforms.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (agile, waterfall) and exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance structure and process with flexibility.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail; well organized and delivers on commitments.
  • Experience interacting with management, presenting, and acting in a professional manner, and managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience using data to drive operational enhancements. Capable of implementing new procedures and driving adoption with team
  • Experience with MS Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A background in building and leading high performance and innovative teams.
  • Must be team-oriented and coachable.
