Devin Pleuler currently serves as the Director of Analytics for Toronto FC. In his sixth season with the club, he is tasked with directing the integration of analytics and data science into every soccer-facing aspect of the organization, including opposition analysis, domestic and international player recruitment, and performance forecasting.

Before joining Toronto FC, Devin worked for Opta Sports providing data-driven insights to professional clubs, organizing bodies, and media outlets around the world. He was also a contributor to MLSsoccer.com, regularly publishing analytics-focused columns under the title Central Winger.

Devin holds a Computer Science degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and was a goalkeeper for the school’s D3 NCAA men’s soccer program. He also holds various coaching credentials and served as an assistant coach with MIT’s men’s soccer program in 2012.
